DR. ELEANOR GALAPON CASAL-PANIS
Dr. Eleanor Galapon Casal-Panis is the resident dermatologist and proprietor of Elederm. She is a board-certified dermatologist, a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society, ranking 6th in the Dermatology Diplomate Examination.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Santo Tomas and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the same university. She later received her Diploma in Dermatology from the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) Department of Dermatology after three years of residency training. She was the Deputy Chief Resident in her senior year.
She had her fellowship in Advanced Dermatologic Surgery and Lasers at the National Skin Center in Singapore, followed by another fellowship in Trichoscopy and Hair Disorders at the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland.
In 2014, Dr. Casal-Panis opened her first clinic, the E-Skin Clinic in Tacloban City. She does visiting consultancy work at the Divine Word Hospital in Tacloban City as well.
Due to the increasing demands in aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Casal-Panis opened the first Elederm Clinic Branch in Robinsons Place Tacloban in 2016 and another branch in Sagkahan in 2018.
Dr. Casal-Panis is an award-winning researcher with numerous publications in scientific journals.
While cosmetic dermatology is becoming increasingly popular, clinical dermatology is still the core of her practice. Dr. Casal-Panis believes that patients deserve medical answers and long-term solutions to real skin issues—both clinical and aesthetic—and Elederm will bring these closer to the people, especially the people of Leyte and Samar.
